The coffee at Fuckoffee is decent, but consistency seems to be an issue. On one visit, my flat white tasted bland, while on another—more recent—visit, it was surprisingly good. When it’s done right, the rich, velvety flavor is definitely enjoyable and satisfying.
Atmosphere: 2/5
The ambiance of the place is decent, but the name is a real distraction. I’m not a fan of profanities, and it feels especially out of place in the heart of London. If it were in a non-English-speaking city like Berlin or Prague, I wouldn’t mind the name as much, but here it feels cringeworthy. To make matters worse, they only serve coffee in plastic cups, even if you’re staying to enjoy it, which I found quite disappointing.
Bottom line
Decent coffee, but the name and plastic cup policy are major drawbacks that earn them minus points, despite their generous opening hours (weekdays until 6 pm, weekends until 7 pm), which make it a convenient spot for a late afternoon coffee.
