Coffee: 3/5
While the flat white I had didn't particularly stand out in terms of uniqueness, the flavor was enjoyable. However, I found it to be a bit too hot initially, and once it cooled down to a drinkable temperature, it lost some of the velvety texture I've come to expect from a perfect flat white. Nevertheless, it was still a drinkable and satisfying cup of coffee.
Atmosphere: 5/5
The atmosphere is cozy and warm, making it a perfect winter haven. The generous opening hours are a bonus, ideal for unwinding after work. The service is excellent, with friendly staff who go the extra mile - I was even offered a gluten-free brownie when I had to decline the cookie that came with my coffee. A great spot, and I'll definitely be back.
Bottom line
Gayle's Coffee Bar serves decent coffee in a warm and cozy atmosphere, with excellent service and generous opening hours. While the coffee may not be perfect, the overall experience makes it a great spot to relax and unwind.
