Coffee: 2/5
The coffee at Little Louie was decent but not memorable. Served in a small, cheap glass, it lacked the warmth and comfort that a proper coffee cup can provide. While smooth, it didn’t deliver the richness and depth of flavor I prefer.
Atmosphere: 2/5
I visited Little Louie on a Monday, and the vibe felt more like a workspace than a cozy café. Most patrons were immersed in their screens, working away. It's a fine spot if you need to get some work done or need a quick break, but not the ideal place if you're looking for a lively or relaxing atmosphere.
Bottom Line
If my internet at home ever went out and I didn’t have any meetings, I might return to Little Louie. However, the coffee isn’t quite good enough for it to be a regular stop for me. They have another location near Walworth Road, in the basement of St Peter's Church, where they bake fresh bread and offer a lovely outdoor area in the middle of a beautiful little garden. Unfortunately, I can’t enjoy the bread (gluten allergy), and it’s been a while since my last visit, However, I do remember enjoying the one near Walworth Road more than the one here in Elephant Park.
