Coffee: 4/5
The coffee at Taggs Coffee Co. is pretty good. It has a rich flavor and a smooth, velvety finish, making it a satisfying choice for coffee lovers. Overall, the coffee offerings tick all the boxes for a great coffee experience. Bonus points for being the cheapest indepentend coffee place I've been to in London.
Atmosphere: 2/5
Unfortunately, the atmosphere at Taggs Coffee Co. is a bit off. While the interior design is quite nice, with a modern and colourful aesthetic, the overall ambiance feels a bit impersonal. It's as if you're in one of those furniture stores that are even cheaper than Ikea. Additionally, the location next to Camberwell Road does not help, as the view is quite depressing, being boxed in between an Iceland and a gas station.
Bottom line
Taggs Coffee Co. offers great coffee, but the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. If you're in the area and in need of a caffeine fix, it's definitely worth stopping by. However, if you're looking for a cozy and inviting atmosphere to relax and enjoy your coffee, you may want to look elsewhere. Overall, Taggs Coffee Co. is a mixed experience, with good and cheap coffee offerings but a less than ideal atmosphere.
